A LENTEN MEDITATION
"The Christ of the University Brotherhood of Cordoba"
The result of the work of a team of scientists who are researchers of the Shroud of Turin. It is the only Shroud-based Crucifix in the world. In it, the wounds of Jesus Christ are reproduced exactly.

O Sacred Head surrounded
By crown of piercing thorn!
O bleeding Head so wounded,
Reviled and put to scorn!
Death's pallid hue comes o'er Thee,
The glow of life decays,
Yet angel hosts adore Thee,
And tremble as they gaze.
In this, Thy bitter passion,
Good shepherd, think of me,
With Thy most sweet compassion,
Unworthy though I be:
Beneath Thy cross abiding,
Forever would I rest;
In Thy dear love confiding,
And with Thy presence blest.
One’s mortal sin testifies to Satan’s victory in one’s life.
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)
